Starting in the Spring, it's a great time for inshore trolling, both off the beaches and in the bay.  And you can troll offshore, where you might come across bigger targets. Mostly, though,offshore means deep-sea bottom fishing.  Charter operations run year 'round, taking care of groups small and large.  Many of these provide tackle, bait and ice.  And the expertise of the local captains can't be beaten.  Back closer to land, flast and freshwater fishing spots are plentiful.  And dropping a line from a pier or bridge is a local favorite, where many folks fish well into the night.
